Cinema: from the narrative's construction to the reception's didactics


July 14th, 2014

  • Most of the chapters of the book to be published this year by the project researchers are ready. Until the end of the year we expect to publish and present the book in Portugal and Spain.

 

October 18th, 2013

  • Due to unexpected delays and scientific and academic work that have restrained the availability of the researchers, the publication of the book has been postponed to 2014.

 

March 29th, 2013

  • During the IV Seminar conducted by our group, it was decided to prepare the publication of a book within the theme(s) of the project, divided between the portuguese and spanish researchers. It is expected the book to be publisheduntil the end of 2013.

 

December 21st, 2012

  • III Seminar of our project in Porto (Círculo Univesitário and FLUP) with all the researchers from Porto and Madrid. Here is a picture of the lunch break at Círculo Universitário:

  • "Cinema Law", published in the Republic Diary on the September 6th, 2012. Special attention to the article 3rd, parameter 2 k), where it underlines the importance of public education for cinema.

May 2nd, 2012

  • The project's application for FCT funding has been already submitted. For now, there is no precise deadline for a FCT's response to our application.


April 23rd, 2012

  • The portuguese paper PÚBLICO published today an article on the new Cinema National Plan, to be introduced in schools in classes between the 7th and the 12th year of schooling, with suggestions from 10 distinguished personalities, of portuguese films to be included in the referred plan (click here).
